The construction of Saint Peter's Church in Uccle is associated with three designers: Laurent-Benoît Dewez, whose initial design was quickly abandoned, Claude Fisco, the architect of the Place des Martyrs, and finally Jean-François Wincq, the stonemason who was asked to complete the building in 1778. The church is a sober building of brick and stone with little external or internal decoration.
