THE ASSOCIATIONS

Explore.Brussels is a network of associations that organise top-quality guided tours in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Its member associations are ARAU, Arkadia, Brussels Chatterguides and Pro Velo and its partner associations are La Fonderie and Korei.

All of these member and partner associations give details of their programmes of guided tours for individuals for publication by Explore.Brussels on its website, which also provides details of their themed guided tours for groups. This allows potential participants to choose from the widest possible range of themes, without having to check with each individual association. It also allows Explore.Brussels to undertake marketing and advertising activities covering the whole programme of guided tours.

The member associations also actively participate in projects led by Explore.Brussels, contributing their expertise, knowledge and time, as well as their network of freelance guides. While the content of the projects is handled by the member associations, Explore.Brussels looks after the project frameworks, logistics and communication.

The partner associations restrict their involvement to organising guided tours and do not participate in the projects as a general rule, although their expertise may be called upon for specific projects.
