Former home and studio of Marcel Hastir
Located at 51 Rue du Commerce at the heart of the Leopold district, the former home and studio of the painter Marcel Hastir gives an authentic insight into how the district looked in the first half of the nineteenth century: a homogenous Neo-Classical group of townhouses. Today, the building's well-preserved Neo-Classical façade is squeezed between modern buildings. Its surprising interior combines domestic and creative spaces. Visiting the building will also give an opportunity to learn more about the life and work of Marcel Hastir, which will certainly surprise you!
